In Utah

This past winter we were able to take part in a Questar Gas Pipeline project just outside of Duchesne, Utah. We placed 5 Cat D8’s and a Cat 330 Excavator in the hands of IXP, a pipeline contractor out of Pinedale, Wyoming. With the help of our machinery, IXP was able to lay 42 miles of gas pipe in a short period of time and in turn, generate some excellent winter revenue for the snow ridden Utah branch.

I personally had the opportunity to visit this job. I showed up early on a Friday morning and spent the entire day on dirt roads with oil rigs as far as the eye could see. Despite the rigs, this is some of the most breath taking country you will ever experience. The project runs adjacent to Nine Mile Canyon with Utah’s famous Green River running right down the middle. It was quite impressive to see our machinery working in such an isolated, beautiful area and in harmony with nature.

Thanks to our service department, management and staff we were able to play a huge role in this important project and look forward to the next 42 miles.

Gas doesn’t bother us one bit!
